Cheryl Nicholson is the founder of Learning Discovery, a tutoring program located in Winnipeg Manitoba, specializing in working with students in elementary, middle years, high school and university who experience barriers to academic success because of Learning Disabilities (LD) or Attention Deficit/Hperactivity Disorder (ADHD). I have worked with individuals across the life span who has struggled with academics or employment because of the impact of these diagnoses. Much of my research in the field has been on early intervention, prevention of the associated features associated with LD or ADHD and discovery of the most effective remediation approaches. Additionally, I have worked with many adults with LD or ADHD as the coordinator of an adult employment program for the Learning Disabilities Association of Manitoba (LDAM). The students I work with typically have LD diagnoses of Reading Disorder, Dyslexia, Disorder of Written Expression, Visual Motor Integration Disorder and Non-v
